Is the consultation really confidential?

If the doctor considers that the treatment is not suitable for your profile, we proceed with a full refund. The doctor may also suggest a more suitable alternative.
PrEP stands for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis. It is an antiretroviral drug taken by people without HIV to prevent infection if there is exposure to the virus. It is not a vaccine: it only protects as long as it is taken as directed.
A recent negative HIV test, kidney function tests and hepatitis B screening. During the taking, the HIV test is repeated every 3 months.
In the daily dose, maximum protection is achieved after about 7 days for anal sex and 21 days for vaginal sex. In the on-demand scheme, the first dose is made 2 to 24 hours before intercourse.
The electronic prescription is sent to your email. You can present it at any pharmacy in Portugal or forward it to an online pharmacy with home delivery.
